By inviting them to work closely together with local professionals, the Taiwan VR Residency will also allow those selected to strengthen their skills and build their network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fruit of an unprecedented collaboration between NewImages Festival, the Kaohsiung Film Festival and the French Office in Taipei, this initiative event actively strengthens the links and develops the exchanges between France and Taiwan in the XR field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the three-month residency, resident will be provided with:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>funding <\/strong>(NT$1,000,000 or about \u20ac30,000);<\/li><li><strong>mentoring sessions<\/strong> with VR experts;<\/li><li><strong>connection with the local VR ecosystem<\/strong> (artists, developers, experts, producers, studios, etc.);<\/li><li>a round-trip economy class <strong>airline ticket<\/strong>, <strong>accommodation <\/strong>and <strong>studio<\/strong>;<\/li><li>a <strong>daily allowance<\/strong> (NT$1,000 or about \u20ac30 \/ day);<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 2020 winner will be announced during the Awards
