TAIWAN X FRANCE XR DAYS<\/h2>

In January 2021, Forum des images via NewImages and the\u00a0Taiwan Creative Content Agency (\u201cTAICCA\u201d) announced an unprecedented strategic partnership, the Taiwan x France XR Days, a bilateral program of meetings and networking. The 1st stage of this professional program was held last June, as part of the 5th edition of the NewImages Festival and the 2nd one will take place in November 2022 as a side event to the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (\u201cTCCF\u201d)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

QUITO UDLA – IMERSIVE RESIDENCY<\/h2>

Initiated in 2022, the Quito – UDLA Immersive Residency is a new and unique program in Ecuador dedicated to immersive creation. With an endowment of 2 000\u20ac, it allows a French artist to develop his or her project in an exceptional setting.<\/p>\n

FARNESE \u2013 MEDICI XR RESIDENCY<\/h2>

With a \u20ac6,000 endowment, this brand new residency allows a French creator to work on his\/her project in an exceptional location: the Villa Medici in Rome.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>the Embassy of France in Italy<\/a>, the Institut fran\u00e7ais Italia<\/a>, the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici<\/a> and Rai Cinema<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

TAIWAN XR RESIDENCY<\/h2>

This residency has been launched in 2019 in order to build bridges between France and Taiwan. With a grant of \u20ac10,000, it offers a French artist a unique experience to develop his\/her project in Kaohsiung (Taiwan).<\/p>\n

NEW LATAM VOICES<\/h2>

This online program<\/a>\u00a0aims to bring together Latam emerging talent with creators from all over the world to tell their stories and move their projects forward.<\/p>\n

TAIWAN X FRANCE XR DAYS<\/h2>

This bilateral program of meetings and networking is the result of an unprecedented partnership. It aims to support exchanges and collaborations between France and Taiwan in the field of immersive creation.<\/p>\n

The two first stages were held on June 2021 (as part of the NewImages Festival) and on November 2021 (as part of the Taiwan Creative Content Fest).<\/p>\n

AFRICA-FRANCE XR RESIDENCY<\/h2>

In June 2021, as part of the 4th edition of the festival and the Africa2020 Season, the NewImages Festival hosted in Paris two young creators from South Africa.<\/p>\n

For a month, Xabiso Vili (poet) and Sonwabo Valashiya (digital artist) developed a joint artistic project mixing photography, poetry and augmented reality:
\n“Re\/Member Your Descendants”.<\/p>\n

VILLA
\r\nALBERTINE<\/h2>

Created by the Embassy of France in the United States, this network for arts and ideas includes no less than 60 residencies in 10 American cities. In Boston (Massachusetts), Mathieu Pradat is currently developing “The Response”, an immersive installation inspired by the famous Turing test<\/p>\n
