He also expresses his interest in virtual reality, a medium which in his opinion is capable of bringing a new experience to the film industry. In a VR work, the scenario remains essential for the director, but he should also be able to take advantage of the technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NVDVX5XUSbA\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With Jurassic World in 2015, Colin Trevorrow not only relaunched the Jurassic Park franchise, but he also directed one of the most lucrative films in history. He made his comeback In 2018, with the script of Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom. On this occasion, the American filmmaker decided to recreate Jurassic Park in virtual reality.\u00a0He teamed up with <strong>Felix &amp; Paul,<\/strong>\u00a0the Montreal based studio, which has produced two Oculus VR experiences, &#8220;Jurassic World: Blue&#8221; and &#8220;Jurassic World: Apatosaurus&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One experience proposed by Felix &amp; Paul made Collin Trevorrow to chose their studio to re-create Jurassic World in VR. &#8220;It was in the room. A guy was playing the piano. The sound was so beautifully echoing inside of the room, it was so immersive. I guess if I had one criterion for what makes great VR, it is allowing you to forget that you are wearing a headset and you are anywhere but actually in that room and it is you &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is official, Jurassic World 3 which will be released in 2021 will have it&#8217;s VR version as well. &#8220;We are going to work on a scenario that, through VR, allows people to have an experience outside of a movie theatre,&#8221; says Colin Trevorrow. &#8220;The innovations and interactions VR proposes do not exist  in any other medium&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VR remains a field of experimentation, according to Colin Trevorrow, which he find rich. &#8220;No one can say what makes VR so successful today. People are trying to define what rules are but there are no rules so far with VR.
