Five personalities from the world of cinema and artistic creation will come to discover the 16 immersive works in competition. It is with great joy that we unveil today the jury members of the NewImages Festival 2020 with great joy that we unveil today the official list of the jury members who will be in charge of awarding the three prizes of the XR Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newimages-hub.com\/en\/festival\/guests\/jean-michel-jarre\/\">Jean-Michel Jarre<\/a> | <strong>musician, composer, performer, author<\/strong> &#8211; President of the Jury<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pioneer of electronic music (first album, <em>Oxyg\u00e8ne<\/em>, 1976), he is recognized worldwide for his approach to innovative visual mise-en-scene and highly technological electronic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newimages-hub.com\/en\/festival\/guests\/julie-bertuccelli\/\">Julie Bertuccelli<\/a><strong> |<\/strong> <strong>director<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Her first feature film <em>Since Otar left&#8230;<\/em> received the Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique. Since, she gained international recognition as a documentary and feature director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newimages-hub.com\/en\/festival\/guests\/jeremy-clapin\/\">J\u00e9r\u00e9my Clapin<\/a> | <strong>author, director<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Trained at ENSAD and after several animated shorts, he directed his first feature film <em>J&#8217;ai perdu mon corps<\/em> which won the Cristal in Annecy in 2019 and was nominated for an Oscar in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newimages-hub.com\/en\/festival\/guests\/alice-diop\/\">Alice Diop<\/a> | <strong>director<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>She won the C\u00e9sar for best short film for <em>Vers la tendresse<\/em> and the grand prize at Cin\u00e9ma du r\u00e9el for her documentary<em> La Permanence<\/em>. She is currently finalizing the documentary <em>NOUS<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newimages-hub.com\/en\/festival\/guests\/vimala-pons\/\">Vimala Pons<\/a><strong> |<\/strong> <strong>actress<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vimala has been acting in young independent cinema and auteur cinema since 2013.
