Anthem to the Fading Flowers

A propos du project

« Anthem to the Fading Flowers » is a project extracting from one of Taiwanese modern dances, a cultural treasure which has been demonstrated by « Legend Lin Dance Theatre » since 1995. In addition, this project aims to bring an unprecedented experience to the contemporary audience: to view « Anthem to the Fading Flowers » (premiere in 2000) through a brand-new VR film, shot outdoor but not on the theater stage, directed by a well-known film director, Singing Chen. Moreover, in a motion-sensing way, the viewer can physically interact through the VR device within the cinematic world. As for the XR Theater, the venue where the VR film is screened, its devices enriching “5 senses” (vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch) of the viewer, triggered according to the narrative of the film in time of 4 seasons changing.
