A propos du project
‘xtended’ is an anthology of short stories examining the impact of virtual worlds and extended realities (XR) on human intimacy. The anthology consists of five stories, exploring five technologies, with ten characters, across three generations, in one near-future world. We take a critical departure from dystopic sci-fi where technology is presented as the villain from which we must steal back our humanity. In ‘xtended’ – the technologies of the future are extensions of our humanity; a humanity that is as messy and beautiful as it has always been.
