Winners of the 7th NewImages Festival

To reward the very best in international immersive creation (VR, AR, video games), NewImages Festival has brought together a prestigious jury for its 7th edition, made up of Shari Frilot, programmer and chief curator of New Frontier at the Sundance Film Festival, Amandine Gay, director, producer, author and activist, and electronic music composer, producer and DJ Molécule, aka Romain De La Haye-Serafini.

Among the 15 immersive experiences selected for the XR Competition, the jury has chosen to award the following prizes: :

• Grand Prize : TRAVERSING THE MIST by CHOU Tung-Yen
• Interactivity Prize : MOI FAUVE by Josephine Derobe
• Impact Prize : THE IMAGINRARY FRIEND by Steye Hallema et Frank Bosma
• XR Development Market Prize :  IRREGULAR HEARTBEATS by Aley Baracat
• Residenza XR Farnese – Medici : JONATHAN PÊPE WITH « FISHEYE»
