“Aimee” Sin-Yi Yao

Aimee (Sin-Yi) has devoted herself to cultural and creative activities in Kaohsiung for many years. She had worked in the Pier-2 Art Center and participated in various activities, including design festivals, art exhibitions, public arts, etc. Then, in 2014, she joined Film Development and Production Center. She helped to nurture talented scriptwriters and to promote films industry through promotional activities, such as premieres, forums, and film festivals.

Aimee joined Kaohsiung Film Archive in 2018 and become one of the international coordinators for VR FILM LAB project. Now she keeps working on building connections between Taiwan’s VR industry and the world and creating more opportunities for VR creators from Taiwan and abroad.
