Julie Desmet Weaver

Trained at the Dramatic Conservatory of Marseille and in classical dance at the Studio-Ballet Colette Armand, then in Paris, Julie Desmet Weaver has performed and directed several shows in France and abroad. Since 2017, she has been engaged in the exploration of writing involving new scenic devices, proposing new experiences to the spectator and initiating encounters around literary, visual, sound and interactive stories. Her two immersive and interactive creations (show + XR installation) inspired by Boris Vian’s famous jazz novel «L’écume des jours» have received funds and help from the CNC, Adami, IRCAM and the French Institute Culture VR programm.
