3rd edition postponed to September 2020

You are amongst those that make our event possible. We first would like to thank you: without you, without your projects, the festival would have no reason to be and would not be the same.
Given the exceptional circumstances linked to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Forum des images, with the organization’s board and Paris City Hall, has taken the decision to postpone the next edition of NewImages Festival to September.
Initially planned for June 10 to 14, the festival’s 3rd edition will take place – under the condition of course that the health situation is fully recovered by then – from September 23 to 27 2020.
Know that our team is already mobilized to ensure the postponing and upholding of the festival’s 2020 edition.
The choice to postpone is not an easy one to take, but it appeared as the best decision given the challenge we face. It is our absolute responsibility to take the opinion of experts into consideration and to act in a civic way: nothing must compromise the health of our public, participants, and all the teams involved. That said, our passion and commitment will lead us to do everything in our power so that 2020 is not an off-year for XR professionals and for our public.
Discovering, uncovering, democratizing: this has always been our motto and we intend, now more than ever, to stand by our missions.
