For 5 days, NewImages Festival presented and rewarded the incredible dynamism of immersive art which, each year, never ceases to hybridize genres and formats, to give birth to new narratives and experiences. The Latin American immersive creation was honored this year with a retrospective of François Vautier.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of the jury members: Brazilian cinematographer and director Priscila Guedes, French writer and director Abel Kohen, French electronic music producer and DJ Tomas More a.k.a. December and French writer, director and casting director Stéphane Foenkinos!
From the 15 immersive experiences selected at the XR Competition, the jury chose to award the following prizes:
- Unframed Hand Puppets, Paul Klee by Martin Charrière and Nathanaël Monney won the Grand Prize
- On the morning you wake by Mike Brett, Arnaud Colinart, Steve Jamison, and Pierre Zandrowicz won the Special Jury Prize
- Kubo Walks the City by Hayoun Kwon won the Special Jury Prize LBE
- Red Tail (episode 1) by Fish Wang won a special mention
- L’Arbre-Soleil by Charlotte-Amélie Veaux and Yann Garreau won the Unifrance Prize
- When silence talks by Paulina Donoso won the XR Market Award
- To make you dream by Alice Lepetit won the Quito UDLA Immersive Residency
- Mono no aware by Boris Labbé won the Residenza XR Farnese – Medici
